Lunch @ Ding Wang Zi Restaurant

I am a big fan of chinese food. During lunch hours at work, I always go to chinese shops for lunch till a colleague of mine teased me and said that I should marry a chinese guy and eat chinese food

Yesterday I had the opportunity to taste lunch menu at Ding Wang Zi Restaurant. Their specialties are Beijing dishes. This restaurant is located at Setia Alam. A convenient place to enjoy your meal peacefully.

The ambiance of the restaurant also very welcoming with friendly staffs. The food also very delicious and I enjoyed them a lot. All the lunch menu set came with sunny side fried egg, bok choy and cucumber.

Firstly, we were served with snacks so we can eat while wait for the main dishes. First came the Crispy Fish Skin. They are really crispy and good to munch it.

Then came the Fried Enoki Mushroom and Fried Oyster Mushroom. They were fried just nice  and enjoy the taste of mushroom.

Next is Beijing Meat Bun. This was my favourite. The bun was very soft with delicious meat filling. It is a must order for me when I go there next time.

Then, came the main dishes. Salted egg chicken set was very good. It was buttery creamy and very yummy.

Next was Sze chuan spicy chicken set. This was my favourite. I can still feel the bursting of the flavours.

Pork chop set also tasted good. It was fried nicely with breadcrumbs. The chicken chop set also similar like pork chop set.

Sweet & sour pork came in two different sets. One is just with pork meat and another one is pork ribs. Both not disappointing. They made it with cherry tomatoes and cucumbers.

Next were diced chicken with spring onions set and dried curry chicken set. Both were very tasty.

Finally came the homemade tofu with minced meat toppings, seafood with tofu, stir fried kailan and spicy cabbage. Homemade tofu is being made from scratch at Ding Wang Zi Restaurant. The spicy cabbage is kinda spicy but very tasty.

And not to miss is their soup of the day. It came in big pots. I cherished the soup. It was very soothing and delicious.

We also served with calming hot chinese tea in pot and watermelon as desserts.

This lunch set menu only available on weekdays. Not on weekends and public holidays.

This restaurant very suitable place to have meals in a calming environment with family and friends.

Ding Wang Zi Restaurant opens every day except on Thursdays. Thursdays are their rest days. You also can call and make a reservation before go there.
