A day at Hong Kong Disneyland

I always wanted to go to Disneyland. It is a dream I had since I was a small girl maybe because I love all these fairytales. So, when I got the opportunity to go Hong Kong, I grabbed the chance and booked my flights and packed my stuffs and left immediately. It was a sudden plan that I only decided to go there few days before the trip.

Once I reached there I was not that well. But I determined to go Disneyland no matter what happened. On 20th January 2019, I stood up in front of Disneyland around 12noon. Finally..yeah! Anyway, Disneyland opens from 10am - 8pm every day. Before we enter there, the security there do a thorough check. Then, we waited at the ticketing line. Luckily the queue was not that long. The ticket price for adult is HK Dollar 619. In ringgit Malaysia, it will be around RM333.

I went into the Disneyland and started walking inside through the Main Street, U.S.A. First I went into the Plaza Grounds Royal Princess Garden. For me Disneyland means princesses and fairy tales...lol. At Royal Princess Garden, we can meet with Disney princesses and enjoy regal makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Here I saw mainly little girls excitedly getting turned into princesses. So cute..

Then, I walked towards the Adventureland.  First I went to the Rafts to Tarzan's Treehouse. We have to get on the raft to cross the Rivers of Adventure and reach the Tarzan's Treehouse. Here have to climb to the treetop home of Tarzan. It was like memory lane into Tarzan's life.

From there, I walked to Moana: A Homecoming Celebration. It is an imaginative re-enactment of Moana's adventures featuring unique form of visual storytelling. It is presented in Jungle Junction.

Then, I went to the Grizzly Gulch. At here, I went to the Big Grizzly Runaway Mine Cars. We can ride through the town of Grizzly Gulch on the mine cars. It is kind of a roller coaster. I am someone who would not get on roller coasters or any adventurous rides like this. But since I am at Disneyland, I decided to get on all the rides. That excited I am..hehe.. The minimum height for this ride is 112cm. It was really fun. I enjoyed it. I am glad that I did not skip it.

After that, I went to Mystic Point. I went into the Mystic Manor and explored Lord Henry Mystic's manor and his amazing collection of art and antiquities. From there, I went into the Garden of Wonders. I was totally amazed by the unbelievable illusions in this stately garden.

Next was Toy Story Land. I went to Toy Soldier Parachute Drop. It is the drop from the sky in the parachute training drill. From outside it looked like it swaying slowly from the sky. But, once I got on it, I felt like all my organs came up to my throat during the drop from the sky.

After Toy Story Land, I went to Fantasyland. My first activity there was Mickey's PhilharMagic. I immersed myself in the magical 3-D adventure there. Actually it was not only 3-D but it was 5-D actually. I really enjoyed it. The effects were so cool.

Next in Fantasyland, I went to Fairy Tale Forest. I explored classic Disney fairy tales in this whimsical storybook garden. We can find all our favourite classic fairy tales here.

Then, I went to the Cinderella Carousel. I rode in one of the 60 graceful, prancing horses. One of my fairytale moment. From there I walked passed the Fantasy Gardens and saw Tinkerbell greeting people there.

From there, I went to Mad Hatter Tea Cups. I spinned at a most unconventional tea party and laughed my heart out. Such a spin it was!

Then, it was "It's a Small World". I took a boat tour around the globe in "the happiest cruise that ever sailed".

Next was The Many Adventurous of Winnie the Pooh. I joined Pooh for a storybook journey through Hundred Acre Wood. While waiting in the queue here, a young couple with a cute little baby was standing in front of me. The baby was so cute and she started to play peekaboo with me. Awww....

Finally, I came to Tomorrowland. The first ride here was the Hyperspace Mountain. I was rocketed into the middle of a STAR WARS battle. It was like a roller coaster ride into the space. So cool..

Then, I went to my final ride there at Iron Man Experience. I soared over Hong Kong with Iron Man to battle the evil forces of Hydra. Such a cool experience.

Since now is the Chinese New Year, there were extra events held at Disneyland such as God of Fortune Goofy Celebration Moment, Chinese New Year Character Greetings and Meet Three Little Pigs at Fantasy Gardens.

Finally, I reached at Main Street, U.S.A again around 7.30pm. Since it is nearing the closing, there was a live party with Mickey and Minnie held there. Awesome party with all the music, dance and confetties. My Disneyland dream came true finally. I am a happy girl. Then, I left the Disneyland with contended heart. DISNEYLAND CHECKED FROM MY BUCKET LIST!
