Lunch at Thai Syok Food & BBQ

Central I-City Mall opened on last Saturday. Since it is nearer to my brother’s house, I decided to check out the mall while visiting my brother and sister in law. I went there on Sunday during lunch hour. So, we decided to have our lunch there.

After walked around the mall, we decided to have Thai food at Thai Syok Restaurant. We ordered Wok Fried Minced Basil Chicken with Holy Basil, Kam Heong Prawns, Hong Kong Kai Lan with Garlic, 3 bowls of steamed rice and 1 pot of Chrysanthemum & Pu Er Tea.
Even though there are not many people, but it took some time for the food to arrive.  I was hungry already while waiting for the food. Then, once the food came, I dug in like I did not see food for few days..lol.



Overall the food was ok. Not bad. My favourite was Kam Heong Prawns. It was spicy and yummy. I really liked its taste. Different from normal Kam Heong I had at chinese restaurants. I disliked the Minced Chicken with Basil. I felt like there is no taste in it. The Kai Lan with Garlic was nice and decent taste. The tea was nice too. It was thick and aromatic.



The time we went the connection was down and they could not use credit card. So, we paid with cash. Total was RM83.80 included 10% service charge.

    Sesekali boleh la kan.
    Kalau selalu parah juga. Even mahal sikit, tapi kalau rasa dia sedap okay je..
    Sy jarang makan luar sampai harga macam tu. 😄

    i pun suka makanan thai ni.kalau dapat pure tomyam dia lagi sedap tau.So far kalau nak ke makanan thailand di johor ni memang jauh sikitlah dari tempat i..Kalau dekat rasa selalu i terjah

    Center i-City dah buka I tak sempat nak pergi lagi kat sana tengok sangat besar dan banyak kedai dalam tu hehehe menarik dan makin ramai lah sesak orang kat area Shah Alam tu hehehehe...

    Makanan Thai memang favourite i. Sebab semua makanan Thai memang sedap dan kena tekak i.Tapi ada juga yang masak tak sedap kan. Tuh yang buat failed .Tapi tengok menu yang u order ni nampak sedap je

    hopefully they will pick up with their service, I have a thing against slow served food. But glad that you enjoyed the Kam Heong at least that saved the negative points.

    I love thai food! They always win my heart and my taste to eat. The foods look yummy and make me mouthwatering. Haha! The price also afforbdable lah! Eat the delicious one, ofcourse it will cost you a bit. Hehehehh

    makanan thai memang sedap..kalau dapat kedai thai betul mesti dapat makana yang unik kan..hehee..takdela rasa tomyam je macam kedai biasa tu..

    Wah!! Masakan thai!! Kalu AM ke sana, AM mesti cuba sup tomyam n masakan sayur.. Kalu sedap dua menu nie confirm masakan kat sini sedap.. Kalu ke Shah Alam nnti AM nak sarankan kat boss singgah d sini juga laa

    Kam heong prawns mmg sedap. I mmg suka makanan thai. Sbb kebanyakannya rasa masam dan pedas. Mmg makan akan menambah2 nasi
